Job Description

Seeking an experienced Solution Architect – Mobile Applications to lead the technical architecture and strategic direction of enterprise-grade mobile solutions. This role is ideal for a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile applications across both iOS and Android platforms. As the technical leader, you will be responsible for defining the overall application architecture, establishing development standards, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems, and guiding engineering teams to deliver robust and future-ready mobile solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, UI/UX designers, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of mobile applications aligned with organizational objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the overall technical architecture for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
  • Establish architectural standards, coding guidelines, and development best practices to ensure consistency across projects.
  • Design scalable, secure, and maintainable mobile application architectures that support long-term business growth.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of business logic, security protocols, API integration patterns, and data management across platforms.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and integrate appropriate third-party SDKs, frameworks, and technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to development teams.
  • Review application designs, code quality, and technical implementations to ensure adherence to architectural principles.
  • Work closely with backend and DevOps teams to design secure and efficient API communication and deployment strategies.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks while minimizing technical debt through proactive planning and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure applications meet performance, reliability, scalability, and security standards.
  • Stay updated with emerging mobile technologies, architecture patterns, and industry best practices to drive innovation.

Pre Requisites:

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in designing and architecting enterprise-grade mobile applications.
  • In-depth understanding of native mobile development for iOS and Android ecosystems.
  • Expertise in mobile application architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture, and modular architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, API security, authentication, and integration best practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and backend integration.
  • Hands-on experience in selecting, evaluating, and integrating third-party SDKs and libraries.
  • Strong understanding of application performance optimization, scalability, and security principles.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

    Experience

  • 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with significant expertise in designing and architecting mobile applications.
  • Proven experience leading technical architecture for enterprise mobile projects.

    Preferred Skills
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Understanding of mobile security standards, encryption techniques, and secure authentication mechanisms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Experience mentoring engineering teams and driving technical excellence.
